[X] Run away and look for more advantageous terrain while spinning up Boosted Gear. Look for cover and force Dohnaseek to engage us in melee, but if no cover is available by the time we're fully boosted let him have it with a barrage of fireballs.(AFTER leaving public view, obviously).

So what dicepool does Fireball use to hit?
Without boosting Dex I'm having trouble seeing us having good odds at hitting him with either that or our fists.
Probably for the best if we use some of the pool to boost Dex and chanel some willpower on to of that.
With us needing less motes we can use the stunts to recover it and small fatigue penalties can be handled with willpower chanelling as well.

That aside, activating Monkey Leap Technique for an enourmous boost in movement speed and mobility should be obvious.
Still might have to add that to the actual vote though.

Actually he might give a shit, but he'd give it by way of running home to Raynare rather than fighting the entire Gremory group at once. Taking care of him ourselves is the better way to handle him than chasing him off and fighting him later when Raynare has her whole team together.

[X] Briefly you consider standing and fighting using your two newest spells but then you reconsidered, those two spells are supposed to be the most basic of basic spells a devil can learn, something they teach children. No, your going to need advantages in terrain to favor you if you hope to hit your enemy much less bring him down so for now you turn on your heel and run away towards the park looking for a more advantageous terrain while spinning up Boosted Gear. Look for cover such as tree's or structures and force Dohnaseek to engage us in melee if he wants to end this fight before it starts, but if there is no cover available by the time we're fully boosted let him have it with a barrage of fireballs. Of course make sure to block his attacks with shield if they are going to hit.

Even if he wouldn't give a shit which is stupid given everything we know IC character about hte politics. He's be outnumbered five to one with experienced magi.

    And this too.

Rias explicitly gave us the armband in case we get jumped.

It's kind mixed in text blocks? And we learn fast. Real fast. And get Exp fast too. We'll be better off fighting them with a team at our back even with there full team.

It occurs to me, instead of looking for cover we can just stunt it into existence. The way stunts work, if the GM didn't say it isn't there, then it can be if we stunt it.

    ----

Briefly you consider just summoning Rias and her peerage to show the Fallen Angel you are not to mess around, but there is also a part of you that want to see how really strong a supernatural creature is. The first time with Raynare doesn’t count since you caught her by surprise. And if things go south you can always summon your allies.

You consider standing your ground and fighting using your two newest spells but quickly dismiss the thought: those two spells are supposed to be the most basic of basic spells a devil can learn, something they teach children. No, you are going to need advantages in terrain to favor you if you hope to hit your enemy, much less bring him down.

‘Ddraig, can I summon Boosted Gear and start Boosting without the mechanical voice saying it loud?’

[I can do it. Do you have a plan?]

    ‘Yes.’

Dohnaseek tosses the spear at you. You dodge it by rolling sideward before turn on your heels and run away towards the training spot.

“Running is useless!” Dohnaseek grows out a pair of black wings and fly behind you.

Covering your arm with your own body you summon Boosted Gear. First Boost.
[Those who attack from an higher ground have the advantage.] Bright warns you. [Don’t run in a straight line and try to interpose as many obstacles as possible between you and him.]

Easier said than done. Luckily Japanese alleys in a residential district have a lot of turns. You change direction as frequently as possible and as rewarded with a growl of frustration from the Fallen Angel as his projectiles only manage to nick your clothes.

    Second Boost.

“Annoying pest.” He says before doubling his firing rate. Strong! One spear manages to hit you in the back, but your force-field blocks it.
“A barrier?” Your assailant wonders aloud. “You have a useful Sacred Gear. Maybe I should take it for myself before killing you. Well, the procedure is lethal to the user so the result is the same.”

    “You’re evil, you know that?!”

“I prefer the term ‘affably wicked’.”

No good, at this rate you will not reach the lot in time. And if you keep using Iron Skin Concentration you will run out of Essence. And an Exalted without Essence is as good as dead.

No choice then: you dive to the right, crossing the street. You jump and land feet-first on the window of a shop, breaking it and crashing inside.

    Third Boost.

“Now you seek to hide? Useless, useless.” Dohnaseek chuckles as he steps down and walk inside the shop. His gaze roams around the shelves full of canned food. “I can keep this up all night, while you can’t.”

“True.” You reply from the other side before focusing and kicking the shelf towards him.
“What?!” He yells as he uses his wings to propel himself upward and escape the falling shelf. But you have already ran behind him, your footsteps covered by the confusion.

    Fourth Boost.
“Eat fire!” You shout as you create magic circles with both hands and let loose a barrage of fireballs.
“AAAAAAHHH!!” Dohnaseek screams as his wings start burning.
“YOU FUCKING BRAT!” He screams as he creates a larger and longer light spear and, holding it with two hands, slams it into you.

    “Gah!”
It hurts! Why didn’t Iron Skin concentration stop the attack?

[The Charm is not infallible. However even without stopping the attack it will still make your body harder to hurt in order to withstand the attack.]

The Fallen Angel raises his spear, more like a humongous club now, and swings it down again but you roll away and dodge.
    [] Continue the fight.
    [] Call your allies.
    [] Write-in?

    Issei is down to:

Fallen angels get additional health levels? Interesting.

Their bodies are naturally more resilient that normal humans. So is Issei, but he is young and Dohnaseek has more experience.

    [X] Continue the fight.

You backpedal away from Dohnaseek, ducking between the shelves as he dives at you, spear swinging wildly. As you round a corner on the retreat you catch sight of several bags of cooking flour stacked on a shelf and an idea comes to you. Didn't your science teacher once say something about dust being highly flammable?

When Dohnaseek comes around the corner you meet him with a bag of flour to the face. Your aim isn't much good, but it doesn't need to be: your opponent contemptuously bats the projectile away with his spear, cutting it open and spilling a cloud of dust particles over his still-flaming wings. You duck around another corner just in time to avoid getting flash-burned by the resulting miniature explosion.

    Seems cool.
Just for clarification how detailed do we have to be about which Charms we use and which we don't when we write-in?
Working every single Charm name into the stunt can be a bit clunky, so should we just add another line with which Charms and so on exactly to activate and when to channel willpower or will you do stuff like that yourself whenever it is sensible?

If you don't specify anything I will activate Charms and Willpower whenever it is sensible. If you have a detailed plan that doesn't fit into the stunt you can add another line with the list of abilities you wish to use and when.

Using the explosion as cover you quickly reapply the barrier spell to your body and lean around the edge with twin charged fireballs ready to fire if necessary.

I added in the last sentence because I want us to capitalize on our advantages here. He should be knocked prone from the blast but just in case we want to make sure the guy is down.

Just to be perfectly clear on this: that much dust shouldn't make an explosion big enough to wreck the whole store, just enough to make a one-time environmental hazard and maybe knock over the nearest shelf. The goal is to inflict a few more points of damage and maybe light Dohnaseek's clothes on fire without getting into spearfighting range, not wreck the whole store (at least in part because I seem to remember something about some Japanese store owners living on the second floor of their shops).
