Honestly, Volume 10 was one of the most awesome volumes to date. The entire Rating Game was full of tension, kind of like Eyeshield 21. Murata really knew how to draw an atmosphere to accompany the tension.

I can only imagine how our version of the fight will go.

 

Immense physical power? Check. Worked his way up from nothing? Check. Has an amazingly powerful artefact, that he rarely uses because he doesn't need it? Check. Larger-than-Life attitude? Check. Can disrupt pocket dimensions through muscles? Check.

 

To be fair the whole scene was written by BobTheNinja. If you have complains you should talk with him. I have a clear image of how Aika should behave but others, unless they are mind-readers, don't know it and have their own personal ones.

In Modern games Lore is the skill for computer programming, actually. So we're already a master programmer, we just haven't tried it out yet. There are programming charms in Shards of the Exalted Dream too, so we might be able to put those to use.

As for getting more believers, couldn't we just use our social skills and talk to people on the street and convince them to go to the shrine.

 

If we dip into Lore charms we could always hack the account of some terrorist cell or mob boss halfway across the world, drain their accounts dry, and be completely untraceable...

As for social skills, that is possible but not easy. Our Presence charms are useful for one-on-one communication and when we're addressing a single social group such as the Gremory peerage or our harem. But interacting with a group of random people off the street would require investing in Performance charms, which is not good for us.

 

[X] Speak to Tomofuri whether he knows of someone we can get in contact with a representative of the Japanese pantheon or their servants through the History Compilation Committee. Perhaps they can provide suggestions or resources in getting more shrine visitors for Tomofuri.

Don't bring up the existence of devils or other supernatural beings if she doesn't but be willing to answer to comment on them if she does. Plant additional flowers around the shrine & have them blessed as well, spread a rumor in the school that a blessing from a kami at the shrine is responsible for their vitality & vivid flowering.

Let's think about the resources we have at our disposal first before we start on an acting career or something crazy like that.

1) We can always ask Rias if the peerage would be willing to help out with advertising the shrine. More advertising means more payout in fertility charms so she'll probably jump at this.

2) We can also get in touch with the Japanese pantheon. The fact that we're trying to rebuild a Japanese god's power would probably gain us a fair bit of good will.

3) We can dip into Lore charms and pick up the First Lore Excellency, God-Mind Algorithms, and Firewall-Defying Method. Then we go on a rampage across the internet and hack the accounts of terrorist cells and other groups who could use a good bankrupting and who will be helpless to defend against a Solar hacker.
