Assuming the first hit doesn't some kind of acid or poison, is strong enough to kill him in one blow or just plain knocks him out leaving him unable to call of his pet. We don't know what this thing can do.

 

Correct so I rather he takes the hit then us.

 

Yeah but if the hit kills him then we can't interrogate him.

This is why we have the plan to kill it from a distance WITH FIRE. So we don't have to risk getting close and getting hit with god knows what.

Also if Eiko is holding down the devil then we could have our loli ally help us with killing the damn thing without having to worry about her stopping mid fight to chase after him if he tries to escape while we're distracted.

 

Your assuming quite a bit it will even get that far.

 

The other plan calls in Eiko to fight him, who's primary means of attack is shooting holy fire that automatically deals aggravated damage to all creatures of darkness. It's not that much better.

 

Reed in the Wind, at the very least, then we need to stunt so that we can counterattack instead.
Also, Alexander, how long IRL time can we get the second and third purchase of Dragon Steals the Root Method from the periodic updates? I need to plan...things.

The greatest weapon of a Dragon is his breath. Solars agree there is no need for fancy tricks if one has sufficient power. This Charm permits the Solar to fire a bolt of Essence. The bolt is targeted with Dexterity + (Athletics or Archery) with an Accuracy bonus equal to the Solar's Essence and a range of (Essence x 20) yards. The bolt inflicts 4L every 2 motes spent, up to a maximum number of motes equal to (Stamina)x2. By spending 1 additional mote the Solar can add an elemental aspect to the bolt and trigger one of the following effects:
-Holy: instead of lethal the bolt inflict aggravated damage to creatures of darkness.
-Fire: set the target ablaze for a single action (+4L to the attacker's damage pool).
-Air: buffets the target, subtracting two dices from her next action.
(Additional possible effects can be added afterwards once the Solar learn how to manipulate the corresponding element through another ability)

I was thinking that Issei could get this during the battle with Kobiel instead of a kack for boosted gear, then refine it under Tannin's tutleage, then show off it's special ability against Orphis, lilith, Great red, Trihexa or Cao Cao.

Why the earth would we waste our time on something as assbackwards retarded as this when we already have Exalted Charms and such, seriously WTF, the Anime Banner lets us completely no sell Illusions basically and pick apart most spells and artefacts like an Uchiha picks apart Jutsu, if we were a Dawn Caste it would make us even Harder to hit and make us Fuck off Terrorfying.

The whole Iconic Dragon thing is a side effect, not an effect, its like heat waves off the sand in a desert in the middle of the day.

Just because it doesn't blow things up or freeze time doesn't mean its useless, sure, its a pain in the ass at times that it pops up when you least want it to, kinda like something else a guy has to deal with, but its a big part of the whole Solar thing, being an Ironic Glowing Solar Hero, Glorious and Amazing. and all that /shrug
