Honestly? Been so long I've forgotten. But I haven't actually posted anything/used the account 'till now.
 
It is a tad bit shameful... and I could be misremembering...But I think it was a post on HypnoHub by a dude named Sunt. He goes by a different name on here I think, so I won't point him out for the sake of... proprietary, I guess? The only other places that I could have heard of this place would be DA or Fiction.live... from the same guy no less. (Another reason not to say anything about his name here, every other place he uses the same name)
 
So, I was on spacebattles talking to someone through the PMs. They recommended Heir to the Crown (a nsfw quest here), and I had to make an account to view it. Thus began my journey. Then I discovered the image threads...lets just say I have used this site a lot. :sneaky:
 
Found it in the SpaceBattles subreddit on Reddit. It was a thread called what other websites are like SB. So I clicked it and found this place.
 
Bored while taken down by covid, looking for new stuff to read. Remembered this place existed from Spacebattles griping about pearl-clutching mods and their fan cults.

MrZoat is a guy who posts almost daily for a story he started donkey's years ago With This Ring who had a fight with the mods over on SB where he moved to SV after, where he then had another fight with the mods there then moved here, so most of his readers which was a pretty big group followed him here. Thus the Zoat Migration, it even got a banner put up by the mods briefly.

Oh. That guy. I think has story has more than a million words at this point. He is quite the prolific writer.
 
My memory is often exceptionally vague, but I remember it was when I had a particular crave for PA fics, I searched everywhere and found a users fic about it. Indirectly, Drich and space battles. Directly, it was me who found this lovely lewd pit.
 
Heard there where stories here not on spacebattles. Also I want a place to post my NSFW ideas that are more than just Plankboy-tier furry amazonian bimbos in a harem scenario. And I have a lot of ideas that are erotic yet not erotic enough or just politically incorrect with sexual content on the side.
 
Found QQ from Spacebattles, and after the recent downtime on SB and Sufficient Velocity, I thought I'd join and see what Creative Writing stories are also on QQ.
 
Relatively longtime reader of fanfiction, both on ff.net and SV. Saw a bunch of threads talking shit about QQ and decided to check it out and join in on the 'shit on the losers' fun time. As you can see, I made an account and am having a great time.

Came to check out this madhouse during one of my FGO kicks cause I wanted to read Fate/Eroge Order.
 
I first heard of QQ a while ago I was on royalroadl reading a sage of eyes fic set in danmachi I pop over to Sb cause it's further ahead and had a more regular update schedule there and datcord would give entertaining commentary on the chapters and meme about sage needing to write smut on QQ.

a few years later I got bored on royal road and decided to read super hero stories on wattpad and Wordpress and from there I got linked to worm.. and thus I read worm while I was super depressed and swing Taylor's shear perseverance through the despair inducing clusterfuck that is canon helped me solve some of the hang ups in my life but it was the ending of worm that had the greatest impact on me.

so I returned to royal road for a bit and after a while I saw something mentioning SB and went there finally made an account and started into the worm fandom. After a while and too many Taylor/ward fics I got annoyed of Sb and remembered way back somebody said something about QQ and that was literally all I knew about the name of this site so I had some issues finding it. Until I found out what Ao3 was from fanfiction and after stumbling over some best forgotten resident evil fictions... I found out the full name of this site and reached it! And thus here I am to mostly lurk around here

Purely word of mouth from a friend on SB. (An actual a friend in real life).

I was like, "Dang, SB is about as G rated as you can get... other than the swearing and murder in their stories. Cause you know, that's cool right? Cant talk about anything sexual, but murder is okay."

My friend was like, "Ha ha ha, I know right? Consensual sex is 100% legal, happens all the time, but it's a taboo subject. Yet murder is highly illegal, and its okay for kids to watch killing (murders) happen on shows all the time."

Then I was like "Exactly! Don't forget the video games that are murder killing sprees like all those first person shooters."

Then we said other stuff, I can't remember..... but then it ended up with him being like "Hey, you should check out Questionable Quests."
