Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
It's on hiatus pending rewrite. I don't want to leave it lingering, but it was my very first attempt at a proper story and I messed up a few things that I can't really fix without some more than minor revision. No idea when I'll get to it, though.
A beautiful conclusion to Act 2. :)
Sadly, I'll have to stop reading along now until I can dig out a week or two to actually finish the game myself. I'll definitely be back after that, though.
Since my last crash&burn I make it a point only to write when I'm feeling it. Forcing myself with "but I have to" results in me hating whatever it is too much.
Have a prickly, prideful wizard for a PC who pushed back against what they perceived as unacceptable "my way or the highway" attitude. Might have been a failed roll involved too, I don't recall.
Which, you know, centuries old Harper agent in eminently hostile territory. On the other hand...
Are the harpy encounter and Kagha's note things that you can find in the game?
So many little things that you can just miss ... would that I could afford to spend as many hundred hours on it as I did with BG2 back in the day.
Sometimes I look at what I've written and I'm like "Well, those are certainly words." Like my brain is a LLM that can bullshit coherent sentences to some degree but doesn't actually understand what it's doing nor has a plan.
