There's something very satisfying about going through a hoard of Infested with a nice sweeping Melee, but then a mutalist osprey fills the air with poison and a half-dozen ancients show up.

Exactly why I hate the Infested. It also happens to be the reason I put punch-through on my Sancti Tigris.

Let me put it another way:

So remember to go back to your OS when the pain returns. It'd mean the medication in the dressing in the socket ran out, and you need a replacement.

Another pain causing thing to look out for in the aftermath of extraction: there might be fragments of tooth or bone trying to get out of your sockets. Your oral surgeon can usually deal with those pretty quickly, though it means you'll need to bite on some gauze again (on one side).

I actually experienced this one, while it was trying to get out was the only time I considered taking the opiates. Then it was out and the pain was manageable with ibuprofen again.
