    Wow, you're missing out. My gaming group spend 3 years diving through the various GURPS modules and campaign settings. Ancient Japan to T16 Traveller to Modern Horror. Good times. Edit: On review, 3 years is too ambiguous. That was every weekend, both days, 8+ hours each day.

    I recommend HackMaster as a good point buy RPG with disadvantages, or of course I guess you could go with GURPS. Thinking about it, one could write an entire gamer story using only GURPS.
