The issue with logging in with email addresses has been resolved.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
Interlude: Edric
King's Landing, Late Ninth Moon, 285 A.C., One moon, one week later…
The size of the city in front of me "boggles my mind", to barrow a phrase from my brother. Even after the stories and descriptions from not just Hugo and Wyman, but from the hardened survivors of the war, I'm...
Interlude: Victarion
Lordsport, Mid-Eighth Moon, 285 A.C., Three days later…
A gust of wind sweeps through the harbor of Lordsport, causing my nephews Rodrik and Maron and their friend Harren Botley to mutter about the cold. Thin snow flurries flutter down from gray clouds as Lord Sawane...
Interlude: Stannis
Lannisport, Mid Eighth Moon, 285 A.C., Six moons later…
The frigid winter air blows fiercely as the Lannister clipper, the Swift Claw, barrels towards Lannisport at near sixteen knots, the bear-skin cloak wrapped around me shielding me from the worst of it. My head and ears...
Chapter 21
Sea Dragon Bay, Early Second Moon 285 A.C., One year, three moons later…
The cold, murky waters of the bay rush past us as we swim, the first light of dawn breaking through the horizon. I hear a series of clicks from the pod of orcas, out on the hunt as the dawn's early light...
Pretty much this. She thinks Hugo will be involved in her son's potential death and is a threat to the Starks.
It could be Bloodraven being prissy, could be PTSD-induced nightmare she thinks is a greendream.
Yeah Bloodraven had it all but ruined by killing the Blackfyre and getting sent to the...
Interlude: Across Westeros
The Hightower, Oldtown, Mid-Ninth Moon, 283 A.C., Ten days later…
Humfrey POV
I nervously walk up the grand marbled stairway that stretches near the height of my home and family namesake, the Hightower. I wonder idly why my father summoned me to his solar. As far as...
List of House Seastark members as of late 283 A.C. Hope this helps some people keep track of the Seastarks!
Lord Torrhen Seastark (b. 245 A.C., d. 281 A.C.), Married Brienne Glover (b. 247 A.C., 36)
---> Lord Hugo Seastark (b. 265 A.C., 18), Married Myrra Lannister of Lannisport (b. 266 A.C...
Chapter 20
Wolfsport, Mid-Sixth Moon, 283 A.C., An hour later…
We watch the sailors disembark the Warg King; the galley Wyman commanded as Lord Captain for the convoy. There were several smallfolk families nearby having tearful reunions with husbands, fathers and sons gone at sea for nearly a...
You make fair points. I'm having them get slowly faster as they build more. The SI is also prepping the trail beforehand and throwing a lot of labor into this. It helps that the land their working on now is mostly flat farmland. The Wolfswood is where I will have the pace slow down due to...
He can definitely loot and/or demand war reparations to help pay for the road. He can also try to free the thralls and give them a place to settle in Wolfsport and Sea Dragon Point.
Maybe. Right now it's summer, and they're building on mostly flat, open farmland with a few hills hear and there for the first third of the route until they reach the Wolfswood, where it's heavily forested, hillier and a few bogs thrown in. My game plan is he get's the first third or so done (17...
The Summer Islands is barely mentioned in canon and I think they're a fascinating area. Plus they're relatively close to Westeros compared to Ibben or Yi-Ti. The SI's focus on trade will increase trade and contact between Westeros and the Summer Islands, causing more Summer Islanders to be...
Chapter 19
Sea Dragon Bay, Third moon, 283 A.C., Five moons later…
Even though this is the fourth time I've inhabited this orca, it still feels surreal to be looking through the murky waters of Sea Dragon Bay, the small bay where Wolfsport and Castle Warg were located. Seeing underwater...
Chapter 18
Lannisport, Ninth Moon, 282 A.C., Two days later…
Myrra stood across from me in a stunning red dress and gold trimmings and a beaming smile. Her house's maiden cloak wrapped around as she stood next to her father, Lord Harrold Lannister of Lannisport. Behind me was Ser Tygett...
Maybe not in raw intelligence but I'd argue whales and dolphins are closer to human sapience then ravens but that's neither here nor there. The Iron Islands won't be partition but that doesn't mean the Greyjoys will keep their title.
Ramsay will be dealt with eventually but he hasn't been born...
