oO well, the first e-mail was from my boss' boss's, boss's, boss, and the second one was from his boss. And both were to all email accounts, so I just kept my head down and snickered about it. You don't want such exalted people to know you even exist if you can help it. Let that be a life lesson to those of you still in college, it's almost never a good thing for them to know your name.

I know quite a bit about it, I just dislike it when I end up passing out for about 14 hours straight... That sometimes happens 2-3 times a week.

Mass Effect always was pretty close to the line of RPG vs FPS.

But for me a big part of the RPG experience is looting everything in sight. Which was ironic to be eliminated between ME1 and ME2 because you'd expect that a government sanctioned operative would be provided the best gear by their government while the agent of a terrorist group would have to recover it on their own.

And having that wide variety of choices, the search for better gear is a big part of RPGs.

Plus they eliminated the Mako and my ability to set up half a kilometer away and pick them all off with a sniper rifle in favor of forcing more short range confrontations and speedier combat resolution.

You were never able to do that in major missions. And frankly, I don't consider that a bad thing. Being able to opt out of primary gameplay is something that needs fixing.

The alternative, of course, is to give the enemy the same options.

It's not a thing one notices outside of recordings.

It wasn't until I heard recordings of my voice in middle school that I realized that, at the time, I carried on the last sound in the last word I said for about two seconds, reliably. Don't think I do it anymore, but apparently I can't tell.

best practice advice i can give is find something controversial to debate about. the pressure to type out your responses quick and without too many errors for a subject you are passionate about will do wonders for your typing speed
