For some reason the wikipedia plot synopsis i found says "Appa Ali Apsa, the lone remaining Guardian left behind after his brothers left the main universe, has been driven insane by loneliness" and then later on says "Hal Jordan, possessed by the Parallax entity, destroys the Central Power...
