Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
The Parasite Mutant demo is out on Steam.
...I could swear it was originally Parasite Mutation, so they may have changed the name.
I love the options for a PS1 graphics filter, even though I didn't turn them on.
It's VERY faithful to the Parasite Eve formula... including necessary...
So I've been playing Chronicles of the Wolf. Castlevania homage/knockoff, pulling a lot from SotN as usual.
It's clunky at first, but as you get more movement and weapon options that clears up. Some of the bosses wind up being pure slugfests (looking at you, Next Generation) but most of them...
Huh. Beat Super Metroid 100% under the three hour 'best ending' mark. Not bad for a filthy casual. I wasn't even trying to really rush. I've beat the two hour mark before, but not on a 100% run.
So, I beat Behemoth.
Final boss was... three phases and the first one was the most interesting. You fight him as just-slightly-large, and cut off his arm, then do some energy ball tennis ala Link to the Past... he even summons clones that don't take damage, just like the second fight with...
Someone liked one of my posts here, so I'm going to share this relevant video from an old movie... based on a true story. My aunt even claims to have watched the sheriff punch the sensationalist on live TV, as it happened.
Ah man, making me remember Revenge of the Nerds. Some hilarious bits. Also some offensive bits, but hey, it's an 80's sex comedy, so.
I think the fourth one sticks with me the most though. Booger (Dudley Dawson) is marrying into a rich family, and some of them are trying to get rid of him... so...
I do use a VPN, but I keep it in the same state unless I actually run into a block- partly not to look suspicious, but partly because it lags if you set it too far out. Didn't have to change it, all the images worked, both the thumbnails and when I opened a page.
Heights aren't quite as bad as Nightscraper... but Dreddstag is still somehow worse. He's bigger, he's got more weak points, and despite the fact that he barely fights back- just trying to swat you like a fly occasionally- he feels harder. Partly because his climbing paths are a fucking maze and...
Saw a joke about loot drops in real life.
That's your Will, I thought.
Second thought: How to destroy a shitty family in your wake: force them to roll Need Before Greed to see who gets what from your Will.
