Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
Wow, that takes me back. No, I haven't touched that story in over a decade, and a quick glance at ff.net shows it looks the same. There are two brainwashing incidents, both of which are pretty significant.
I'm actually trying to decide between an entirely new game, or restarting Cultivation Quest with batter pacing and some new game mechanics. The latter would let me re-use a lot of background and characters, but I suspect having to start over would upset a lot of the old player base.
I liked writing those parts too, I just made the mistake of introducing far too many waifus too quickly. I'm also looking at some ways to vastly reduce the amount of bookkeeping required to run a CQ-style fantasy game, which would make the quest less likely to collapse under an inordinate workload.
Aside from that, the quest itself introduced too many characters (especially waifus) and plot threads too quickly, left you with no guidance from NPCs who weren't working for you, and was kind of short on opportunities to do anything besides research and collect waifus. I'd have to do a complete...
The cultivation system ended up with too much math, too much vagueness about what people can do (especially in combat), and too few options for making different cultivation techniques unique and interesting without just breaking the whole progression. I've worked out a different system that I'm...
I've looked at a lot of ideas, from just doing a timeskip to a complete reboot, but they all had a lot of problems one way or another. Right now I'm working on an idea for a new setting and initial situation that would copy most of the good stuff from Cultivation Quest, without having the same...
No, the problem was that the production accounting got so complicated I couldn't keep up with it. It was a cool concept, but I'll need a better wat to handle that issue before I try again.
Trying to schedule these things never seems to work for me. At the moment I'm working on the next Daniel Black book, but who knows how that will work out?
I use SubscribeStar (at https://www.subscribestar.com/william-s-corner) instead, because they actually have clear guidelines about acceptable content and follow them. In contrast, Patreon has a crew of censors who routinely ban people for having opinions they don't like, or attracting the...
