The issue with logging in with email addresses has been resolved.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
I'm not in the best financial situation myself, but I'll be damned if I just sit here and watch you die.
I sent you 20 Euros, so 21 Dollars. It's not much, but maybe it helps a little bit.
Hang in there, please.
New creed of Grey Jedi (the actual ones, not the Fanon Snowflakes): The Lazy Side of the Force.
The Force is a tool for us to use. And with that I mean we use it to grab a snack from the fridge while still comfy and cozy on the couch, or use prescience to see if the doorbell ringing really...
Okay, this question is probably rather common but still:
Authors, what do you do to get in the right headspace for writing? Like, any specific rituals or habits you've cultivated, so that your brain doesn't make farting noises at you when you stare at the document?
Right off the top of my head:
The Black Company, about a Sellsword Company working for an evil overlord, is pretty good, and I've seen it described as "Imagine Lord of the Rings, but told from the perspective of an Easterling Captain", if you are into that. The setting is, for all intents and...
Okay, I asked around some friends and they have encountered the same phenomenon, despite it being weirdly specific, so I want to ask here too:
Do you know that weird state where you aren't quite awake yet, unable to move, your nose is congested, you are drooling on your pillow, and a strangely...
He has proven his strength and resourcefulness to the tribe, by slaying a great beast according to the ancient rites. Thus, he shall be crowned king and be hoist aloft upon a shield to the adulation of the crowds!
That would require you to narrow it down. Though, personally, it's more "dislike" than actual "hate".
My investment in the Dragon Age series died with Inquisition, so I wouldn't have touched Veilguard anyway. I think modern Star Wars is mostly crap, so Star Wars Outlaws also wasn't on the...
The mad bastards did it! Foxhole gets air combat!
Now you, too, can enjoy the pleasure that is making bombing runs on rear-line logistics centers, or being a truck driver, living in fear of enemy bombers. Or the pleasures of flying air patrols, to defend your logistics against enemy bombers...
Not sure if it counts, but I stopped reading the "Dwarves" series by Soleil Comics for somewhat similar reasons.
I am a Dwarf fan, I enjoy the art, I love the characters, the worldbuilding has some neat bits (such as the Dwarves' quasi-Caste System), and the series' last (read: most recent)...
