I find working out generally boring as watching paint dry with added physical exaustion. I think it's better to find a hobby that forces you to move, swimming, biking, tennis, basketball, hell, play Dance Dance Revolution or Wii Sports, as long as it gets you moving it's better than nothing. -

Decent advice but rather than boredom I feel the worst thing for dieting is resisting cravings- though given OP says he's eating the same stuff, just less, that shouldn't be an issue and even if it is that same advice can help with that as well. That or getting some low cal snacks to munch on... -
