Inspired by React/Intel Verse

This is a DxD/FGO Crossover where Chaldea crossed over into the DxD verse and shenanigans happen. But we observe these events through reports written by characters in the setting.

NAMES: Margaret

"Tattletale" is a proprietress and the bartender of the small bar in Netherlands called Shining Sun.

She was named so because people would let their guard down around her and revealed their secrets due to her seductive abilities. It was noted that those with magic resistance has an easier time resisting her seduction, implying that her presence has some sort of passive hypnotic effect on others.

That said, all agents should still keep their guard around her as she is still a formidable seductress even without her supernatural ability. Refer to [REDACTED].

ADDENDUM FROM "Azazel": No, I wasn't seduced by her. I intentionally leaked those information to her as part of my secret plan. And also, she's clearly the one who's smitten with me.

ADDENDUM FROM "Shemhazai": Please stop censoring important information just because you're embarrassed.

There are speculations that she's connected to the newly emerging faction, Chaldea. As such, the mission to collect information on the bar, the Shining Sun, has been upgraded to Priority-A. However, due to risks of information leak, it is recommended that only agents with junior ranks should be sent in for this mission.

AUTHOR: Serafall Leviathan

CODENAME: Lambda

NAMES: Meltryllis

"Lambda" is a lost child from a Leviathan branch family, kidnapped by Chaldea.

ADDENDUM FROM "Sirzechs": No, she's not. It was just a theory we threw around. While she technically possesses Leviathan blood, she's not a Leviathan. In fact, according to Ajuka's analysis, she might not even be a devil.

Chaldea had replaced her limbs with prosthetic weapons and brainwashed her into serving as their loyal soldier. These procedures had resulted in the degradation of her sense of touch.

ADDENDUM FROM "Sirzechs": No, she had her prosthetics way before she even met Chaldea. And according to "Lambda", her degraded sense of touch was apparently some sort of 'birth defect'.

The "Master" of Chaldea had taken advantage of the extensive brainwashing performed on her to take her out on dates.

ADDENDUM FROM "Sirzechs":According to eyewitness reports, it was more like "Lambda" is the one dragging around "Master" on a date.

After careful consideration, the Satan, Serafall Leviathan, volunteered to rescue "Lambda" from the clutches of Chaldea.

ADDENDUM FROM "Sirzechs": No, she just assumed the worst and flew off while we're in the middle of the meeting.

Despite her best efforts, Serafall Leviathan failed to rescue "Lambda" due to how deeply the brainwashing had affected her mind. Refer to LINK NOT FOUND for further details.

ADDENDUM FROM "Sirzechs": I have now deleted the incident report as it was just a fanfiction. And no, I didn't mean that she posted a falsified report. She literally just posted a fanfiction of her encounter.

Once back in Hell, Serafall requested the other Satans for reinforcements. But they refused, saying that they could not afford to anger Chaldea any further. That is despite the fact that Chaldea had attacked Hell many times in the past.

ADDENDUM FROM "Sirzechs": Yes, I did refuse to help her 'rescue' "Lambda". You know why? Cause she made it clear that she'll kill Serafall if she even appeared within the same country as hers. You might think "Lambda" is just overreacting. Well, let's just say that Serafall made a very bad first-impression on her and just leave it at that. Also, regarding Chaldea's previous attacks on Hell, Serafall, I distinctly remember you celebrating when they attacked the Astaroth and Bael estates. But what do I know?

ADDENDUM FROM "Sirzechs": From now on, Serafall Leviathan is forbidden from submitting further information on "Lambda" due to her clear 'biases'. As such, disregard everthing within this report until further notice. Ajuka will be submitting a more accurate and up-to-date report on this once he's done.

And if you have to interact with "Lambda", don't call her a Leviathan. She really did not like it ever since her meeting with Serafall.

Tattletale: pretty good if a bit short but thats understandable since outside of being a spy she's just a normal girl

Lambda: really good has a great amount of personality and has a good lead off point for another intel while also having a long term consequences

Honestly I think it would be interesting to see the story through the perspective of the comments in the Intel. It adds a personal touch. It's why most of the Intel in the BNW thread paints a picture of how Chaldea operates and how it continues to change their world.

BACKGROUND: On the date REDACTED, the head of Pendragon Family, Uther Pendragon, was deposed by the the "Chaldea Faction" and the Subject "First Arthur" was installed as their puppet leader. And immediately after the takeover, the Pendragon Family announced their decision to cut all ties with the Church and and their affiliated organizations. After days of negotiations, the Cardinal Priest of the Vatican Church, Vasco Strada, managed to obtain the permission to interview the Subject "First Arthur" in person.

The following is the Audio Transcript of the interview.

V: Alright, Lady Pendragon. Now, allow me to remind you. If you do not want to talk or you want to leave, just tell me, okay?

A: I understand, Sir Strada.

V: Excellent. Let us introduce ourselves again for the sake of the listeners. I'm Vasco Strada, a Cardinal Priest of the Vatican Church.

A: And I'm Artoria Pendragon. I'm a Servant at the service of the Chaldea Security Organization and currently a temporary head of the Pendragon Family.

V: Right, so, first question. Excuse me for being blunt but are you the King Arthur of the Arthurian Legends?

A: Yes, you're correct. I'm considered the "first" of the Saberfa-I mean, Arthurs. Though technically, I'm the "second" but the first one had to leave Chaldea due to his personal duties and the title fell to me according to the order of succession.

V: I see. Can you elaborate?

A: I wish I could but that's all I can reveal for now. I've spoken too much already.

V: I understand. Now then, let's get back to the purpose of the actual purpose of the interview, Chaldea's takeover of the Pendragon Family.

A: That is not quite correct. It is I and I alone who took over the Pendragon Family. Chaldea only assisted me a bit as I'm a part of the family.

V: So, you're saying that you took over the Pendragon Family due to your personal issues with them?

A: Yes.

V: Can you explain why?

A: Of course. But first, let me give you a bit of the background. Are you aware of the kidnapping of the daughter of Lady Yasaka just a few weeks ago?

V: Yes, I heard that she was rescued shortly after the kidnapping. Is it safe to assume that Chaldea's behind her rescue?

A: Yes, we were visiting Kyoto as a vacation then. We cannot ignore a kidnapping when it was happening right in front of our eyes.

V: And that was when you faced the Khaos Brigade, yes?

A: Yes, more specifically, the Hero Faction of the Khaos Brigade. And as you can surmise, that was also when we met our soul-inheritors.

V: "We"? You mean to say that there are others like you? The original heroes?

A: Yes. But you already know that, don't you?

V: [chuckles] I do. I'm just acting like I don't for the sake of our audience. Anyway, that was why Chaldea…took away the members of the Hero Faction because they're your soul-inheritors.

A: Yes, originally, we're just going to leave them to the authorities. But when we found that they're our reincarnations and we feel responsible for their action and take it upon ourselves to straighten them out. I hope you can understand.

V: I do, Lady Pendragon. And are they doing well right now?

A: Yes, all of them are going through trainings befitting a hero.

V: Are the trainings difficult?

A: Very. Are you worried?

V: [laughs] Yes, I'm worried that you might be going easy on them! Those brats are still criminals after all. Now, let's get back to Arthur specifically. He's the reason you decided to attack the Pendragon Family?

A: Indeed, Sir Strada. When we talked with Arthur, he revealed to me that his lover and his younger sister were held hostage by Uther Pendragon, the previous head of the household, and that he joined the Khaos Brigade in order to rescue them. Thus, I offered to rescue them in return for him leaving Khaos Brigade and atoning for his sins.

V: I see. And did you do it alone?

A: No, I have my knights with me as well as my Master and a few of his Servants.

V: Master…and that's the young man who's seen giving you orders?

A: Yes, but the Master title is just a terminology from Chaldea. He's more like a…commander to us.

V: I see. And if you don't mind, can you describe him a bit?

A: I'm sorry, Sir Strada. I do mind. Information about him is classified.

V: I understand. And what does Servant mean? Is it another Chaldea terminology.

A: Yes, Servant refers to people like us, fighting for Chaldea under our Master.

V: I see. Now then, can you tell me more about the attack?

A: Right, so, we arrived at the castle in midnight. We scouted out the place with our spies and discovered that Uther was keeping prisoners in the dungeons. Thus, I decided to have some of our knights attack the place head-on as a distraction while our spies worked on saving the prisoners. Once the prisoners were secured, we revealed our identity and our reason for attacking the place to Uther and ordered him to surrender. He refused and sacrificed his men for power. And while he became far more powerful, he also lost his sanity and proceeded to attack enemies or allies alike. Thus, we had no choice but to slay him.

V: That was when the the two huge energy blasts happened, yes?

A: Yes.

V: Our magicians said that those blasts are very similar to the energy signatures of the Excalibur. Can you tell us why?

A: That's because they did come from Excaliburs.

V: Excaliburs… [long pause] …as in plural? You have multiple of them in your possession.

A: Correct.

V: And I'm guessing that the reason is confidential information.

A: Again, correct.

V: Jesus Christ… [long pause] Right! Let's move onto our last topic. You're the one who ordered the Pendragon Family to cut all ties with the Church, yes?

A: Indeed, I did.

V: Can you explain why?

Call me crazy but I think Strada is real fucking close to beating some members of the church so badly that he'll be legally recognized as their alcoholic father.

That was the idea at first. But I decided to rework it because I feel that it's out of character for Strada.
Not the "beating up corrupt members of the Church" part. I just feel that he wouldn't announce it so explicitly in a report.
