  • The issue with logging in with email addresses has been resolved.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.

What exactly do you want to do? 'Not Lurking' just means replying to threads, rather then just watching them.

Exist and interact in non lurker stage 1. Commenting in profiles is like 2. 3 is actually messaging people for pure interaction. I'm a 2 who has done 3 once but I'm not social enough to do it more when I prob should since I have nothing loose trying to make friends

Getting from Stage 1 to Stage 2 is super difficult. Like how do you just go and comment on people's profiles without going like "damn I'm going to annoy them"? It's like going up to strange in public and talking to them.

Its more of a just do it sorta thing since you can always apologize and/or be blocked which don't matter in the grand scale of things. Plus commenting on profile is easy because you can do basic stuff like say happy birthday or other such things

Maybe it a cultural thing but I would feel extremely rude doing that, especially if I were to rationalize it with "you can always apologize and/or be blocked" at that point I'm doing something fully aware that the other person may not like/be annoyed would feel rude to me to do it anyway.
