Suggestion: Enforce correct tagging.

Random mod thought - this sounds like a lot of effort to develop and enforce for something that's already in a mostly-fine state. The vast majority of threads already use the existing tags clearly enough, trying to make a more rigid structure is just not worth it. Most cases this would 'fix,' a user could just ask the author to add a tag for specific content and it'll be fine.

Maybe we could step in if a thread has a clear case of intentionally deceptive tagging, but that just about never happens in my experience.

You know, for someone saying people are being passive aggressive and gaslighting, you seem to be hard at work to win an award for both.
Comparing things to a cult is always a great move, especially when it is just because people disagree with you.
And literally no one has told you to leave this site. We've told you that the site won't, and shouldn't, be changed in accordance with your demands and desires, and recommended other places more in line with your interests.

I agree, said it before earlier in the thread and will say it again now, if people were deliberately lying in the tags to mess with people, that should be punishable, but I have never seen that happen. Never even heard of it happening.

It's indeed possible to encourage people to add these tags! The method is actually quite simple- it's called politely asking.

However, actual enforcement of tags, as the threat title you made says, is not going to happen.
Multiple people have already stated why:

• Tags lack definitions, and interpretation is subjective when most tags are user-created - what does 'corruption' mean? Turning into a demon-girl? Taking bribes? What constitutes the "multidimensional nonsense" tag?
• Tag scope / relevance is also a thing. Should the 'tentacle sex' tag be used when only 1 of the 20 chapters contains it? What if some of the other chapters are referring to it but don't contain the actual smut content, how does that count.
• Who is going to enforce these very subjective things? Any group of people will, by dint of having multiple people, have differing opinions on what each case is.
• Frankly speaking the staff don't have the interest nor spare time to moderate that every case be brought to attention, judged, and enforced. That's not what I signed up for, that's not what the mods signed up for, and authors sure didn't sign up to have their threads policed.

There have been no significant spikes in user registrations, daily active users, nor spikes in daily post counts. Furthermore, the mentioned discussion threads about SB have not seen any discussions of major drama or incidents that would cause user migration lately.

I'm just going to go and state for the record that demanding special treatment for your tastes (especially just because "oh but my tastes are mainstream"), while simultaneously demanding that the things you personally dislike be marked / filtered is absolutely the behavior of the easily offended.

I've increased the maximum number of content tags from 20 to 30.
If that's not enough we can maybe go a bit more, but I'd prefer not going full Ao3 numbers of tags.
