This dude's become a legend so fast. Seeing him get one of the hardest fights in the game down to such a science is fantastic.

 

He's pretty good but I'd argue ongbal did a better job of getting the fight down to a science. Less time taken and all that. Dude pretty much bullied her to the point you feel sorry for her. Though perfect parries probably isn't as viable when latency becomes an issue.

 

Reminds me of Serral from the Starcraft 2 competitions. He flattens his opponents and while I enjoyed him at first, there was so little challenge that I got bored of his matches.

 

Ong sometimes spices his stuff up by doing things like trying (and almost fully succeeding) to perfectly parry Isshin's one mind rather then dodging it. There's enough mixing things up that it's generally interesting to watch.

 

I miss the old Shoutcraft, was hosted at a time that was horrible for Korean professionals which meant they made a lot of mistakes that would allow other professionals more chances to counter.

Starting a Nuzlocke of Cyber Sleuth to go alongside my normal game I'm playing. How do the rules below look?

Game: Digimon Cyber Sleuth [Complete Edition]

Rules:

1. I am only allowed to Digi-Convert In-Training Digimon for use.
   1. In-Training I (Baby) and In-Training II (In-Training) Digimon and considered In-Training.
   2. The starting Rookie Digimon is the exception to this rule.
   3. NX Digimon are Farm Fodder Only due to being able to snap the early game difficulty in half if I use them as Load Fodder or as actual fighters and they would take up valuable DigiBank space.
2. I am allowed to Digiconvert Rookie and above Digimon as long as I intend to ‘Load’ them in to my current Digimon.
   1. In the event I can not or do not do load them upon Digi-Conversion, I must nickname them as Load Fodder or something along those lines.
3. Digimon who die must be dedigivolved back to a base form (Baby/In-Training I) and converted to Data before being ‘reborn’.
   1. Excluding Digimon who die in the Offline Colosseum due to the implied no-killing rule of the colosseum.
4. Digimon must gain a Nickname by Rookie at the latest, this is a Nuzlocke after all.
   1. So long as a Nickname has been given before digivolution to Champion, Digimon may keep their ‘breed’ name.
   2. Nicknames may be changed to reflect digivolutions. Starting with ‘Clank’ to ‘ClankStar’ which becomes ‘SuperClank’ for example.
   3. Digimon reborn must have a Nickname if they had one previously.
5. Difficulty must be Hard.
   1. If I lose to a boss or a mandatory fight three or more times, I am allowed to temporarily lower the difficulty to Normal. Upon beating the fight, I must return the difficulty to Hard.
6. Must play the Original Story first.
   1. I may continue the Nuzlocke into CS: Hacker's Memory if I so desire it.

I want make it something of a challenge without going too far and making it unfun.

 

After a quick check to see if the message is also posted on Steam, its confirmed. TERA is shutting down. Servers closing on June 30th if I remember what I read correctly.

Haven't played since GameForge became the exclusive publisher, already mourned it as a dead MMO and the only one I've ever really enjoyed. Ah well, hope no one was trying to get into it again recently.

 

That's a shame. It's always a bit sad when a MMO is shutting down, forced or voluntary.

By the look of it you can customize the other three characters as well to some extent. Hopefully that includes clothing so I can we can run around as 'The Naked Saints' gang.

 

Anyone else hyped for July 29th? Digimon Survive and Xenoblade Chronicles 3 same day release. Not gonna lie, I’m look forward to Survive more and I barely know anything about it (at the time of posting this) but, unless it is a shitty cash grab based on people’s nostalgia, I know I’ll enjoy it enough.

 

Anyone know the difference between the Standard edition of Rune Factory 5 and the Digital Deluxe edition? I want to know if I'm missing out on anything big if I just the the normal edition.

This is some funny edgy stuff made by a Russian I just found like an edgy 5 year old from 4chan was in charge of making a story and this was what happened after game developers followed it and made their version of Kenshi/Silent Storm from space but on a prison planet with guns and edge while on drugs.

I for one look forward to what Embracer does, granted I've never heard of them but that's not a mark against them. Maybe we will be getting a Rerelease of Super Mario RPG, that would be nice.

 

Apparently there's several private TERA servers out there. Based on the 2013 and 2015 versions of the game. Tera CZ, Asura, and Menma. Haven't looked at CZ or Asura, but Menma seems to be close to the TERA I remember playing. Likely going give it a try sometime soon.

 

Started "Shing!" and "Say NO! More"

NO! is amusingly wacky, if simplistic.

"Shing!" is a game I'm going to play through once, get frustrated at the harder difficulties, and give up on the rest of the content, probably. The one ninja looks a lot like Azula. I've only played the first stage three times so far, though- didn't manage to get the "Master" bonus for Hard difficulty, so there's that.

And I am NOT down for the right-stick controls. Eugh. Just does not work for me.

Xenoblade 2 question, I have a file where I’m about to finish the Saving Nina (Welsh catgirl) from a Military airship. Would it be better to start over or to continue on form this point?

I stopped playing around this time last year, I got a new job which was kicking my butt, so I dropped a lot of games I was playing because I didn’t want the frustrations of my job to turn my enjoyment into dislike. I’ve since got use to the job and Xenoblade 3 is coming out soon and it’s rekindled my interest in the game.

 

And with a perfect sense of timing, the sale was done right when the tulips came home to roost.

I have a feeling when Embracer was giving S-E the check of $300 Million for Eidos/Crystal Dynamics and their IPs, they were desperately trying to keep a straight face. In comparison, Sony spent $3.6 billion to acquire Bungie, and that did not include the IP rights to Destiny, just the film and media rights.

 

It's up to you if you think it's worth your time to redo, but the first three chapters (you're nearing the end of the second) are all very solid on setting up the setting and foreshadowing. I personally restarted mine the first time around in chapter 3 because I finally started to understand how I was supposed to be playing the combat system and wanted to see what it was like when I wasn't frantically running from everything, but that was three years ago so I can't give you a more detailed 'what I got out of it'.

 

I feel like I should, if only to remember the plot. I only remember there being a conspiracy (what I thought was one anyway), a betrayal, something about a tree and an amazing chest.

Bloodborne question: What's the appeal of Ludwig's Holy Blade? I'm doing a heavy weapon playthrough, and the Hunter Axe + Kirkhammer seem more useful. Axe for groups of enemies + range and hammer for high health, single targets.
