So there is a new trailer for Overwatch 2... it felt cringe. "Unleash Hope"... its a videogame don't try to apply wacky videogame logic to the real world, I like the cinematic trailers, and if they had put a story saying Hope and what not I wouldn't have thought it as cringe but showing random real-world and videogame clips with saying a pseudo motivational speech about "Hope" made me cringe.
The fact that it has 2:1 Like to dislike makes me think I am not the only one that felt the same... aside from the fact that it's Blizzard with its general bad PR and the Multiplayer for the original Overwatch was shut down yesterday.

Sorry for the small rant it just made me mentally cringe watching the trailer.

 

Huh, looking only at porn it seemed like a fairly popular franchise.

 

It... had very attractive characters and, with tech being what it is these days, it was easy enough to extract their models from the game to make porn with.

But pretty girls was literally all it had going for it. Overall, it was the poorest performing of all the big names of its genre.

Compared to League of Legend's staying power (and recent surge thanks to Arcane) and Team Fortress' humor and engagement with its player base.

And, of course, Call of Duty and its fifty thousand clones for those looking for more 'realistic' gameplay. But at this point CoD is basically a genre in its own right.

Yeah, Overwatch just couldn't compete. Doesn't look like this is going to change that, much.

But, hey, I bet it'll still have the pretty girls whose models can be extracted for porn.

 

Wasn't there some kind of outcry over one of the characters (Tracer?) victory animation?

 

I don't know. I don't care enough about Overwatch to follow its news.

Anyone remember how to change font size of the website?

If the former, browser settings should have an options for font size and possibly a zoom function, under the appearance section would be my first guess though depending on what browser you use it might be different.

 

Cntrl + to zoom in, cntrl - to zoom out.

 

Huh, could have sworn there was an option for font size in xenforo

 

SB has a font size option -- just to the left of your username, in the top bar.

QQ has no such option that I can see.

I am not that creative or good at problem solving, are there any other sites out there I can go to. Not big social media a forum like this, I’m not liking the SB spin-offs anymore, I don’t feel for them like I used to

 

I think, if you are worried about that, you might basically need to just try finding a core group of people that you go over things with. Sometimes, Discord servers that initially unite around a topic can be good for this. Other times, you might need to go over websites like what you mention, but with more intent of forming consistent conversations, instead of just shouting into the void for help or critique.

 

Discord hasn’t helped, and it’s ones I made.

 

Did you know that a TV show about people acting as generals, giving commands to other people who would execute them in famous historical battles simulated in Rome Total War, was a thing?

So I don't know if this is the right thread to ask but I'm trying to write a fanfic and I use Microsoft word. Now the problem is that whenever I try to paste my new chapters over here my formatting goes to shit, and it smashes the whole piece into one paragraph.

So far, my only workaround is to fix it over in SB and then post that over here.

So how do I fix? And if this isn't the right thread to ask, could you point me in the right direction?

 

Try the 'use BB code editor to the upper right of the various format options.

No guarantee it'll work, but it's the only trick I'm aware of that might work.
