Comnet Pretty Cure

Comnet City... a shrine to scientific achievement powered by the most advanced technological wonders in the world. Owned by the visionary Japanese-American scientist Mortimer Inukai, this city is only a few years old. It has cleaning robots, voice-activated household appliances, and eco-friendly transportation, such as Comnet Rental Bikes and electromagnetic subways.

The most prominent school in Comnet City is Comnet Academy, an escalator school as large as a university. Nearly every student in Comnet City, regardless of age, goes to this school. There are six entryways for students to get to class: the Elementary Gate, where students grades 1-6 enter; the Jr. High Gate, where middle school students enter; the High School Gate, where high school students enter; the Sci-Tech Gate, the entrance to the school's Science Department; the Gym Gate, where the entrance of the gymnasium is located; the Primary Back Gate, where most elementary students exit; and the Secondary Back Gate, where middle school and high school students exit.

You are a student at one of the entrances to school. Today is the first day of school, and also the fifth anniversary of the school, April 2^nd.

Alright, here is the deal: you are going to describe what gate your student is going to enter first, as well as what your character's feelings are. You can decide whether you walked to school alone or with a friend(s); remember, most of the kids in this city go to this same school.

Nozomi made her way down the now familiar route leading from her home to Comnent Academy. In her right hand she held the hand of her rambunctious little sister Sachi, who was bouncing along happily and talking animatedly. Her excited stream of chatter was directed at Shina, her younger twin sister, who was timidly clasping her older sister Nozomi's other hand and listening to Sachi with wrapt attention, ccasionally nodding her head in agreement. Beside the three sisters walked Chiyo Taniyama, Nozomi's very best friend.

Nozomi smiled contentedly, giggling to herself as she listened in on her little sisters conversation. She tried to keep an attentive eye on them, holding their hands gently, but firmly as she guided them to school.

"Thanks for tagging along with us Chiyo. I know it's a bit out of the way heading to the Elementary Gate instead of just using the High School one..." Nozomi said with a note of guilt in her voice as she turned her head to face her friend.

"Oh, don't worry about it, Nozomi. It's no trouble, really. I'm happy to follow you guys," Chiyo replied, trying to give Nozomi a reassuring smile.


Their little group was fast approaching the entrance to Comnet Academy's Elementary Gate. They soon merged with the large stream of adorable little grade schoolers getting ready for their first day of the school year. Nozomi couldn't help, but smile wider at the sight of all the little children running around. She'd always had a fondness for little ones.

As they approached the entrance Nozomi began to feel a tugging on both her hands.

"Hmm?" She asked, looking down to Sachi and Shina who were both pulling to get out of her grip.

"Big sis, we're here! You can let go now~!" Sachi exclaimed, jumping up and down excitedly.

"I can see some of our friends..." Shina added shyly on Nozomi's other side.

"Oh, alright, alright," Nozomi said, chuckling a bit at her sisters. "I'll see you two off here then," she continued, bending down to give each of them a hug.

"Remember to be good girls and stay out of trouble. And make sure to stay together," Nozomi said in a firm voice, looking each of them in the eyes.

"Yes, big sis!" Sachi and Shina chanted in unison.

"Very good. You can go see your friends now," Nozomi finished with a smile.

Not needing to be told twice Sachi and Shina were gone in record time, rushing to speak with some of their classmates with wide, ecstatic grins on their faces.

"Be sure to have a good first day!" Nozomi called after them, cupping her hands to be heard over the massive crowd of students.

"They'll be fine Nozomi. Anyways, shall we head off? It's our first day too ya know~!" Chiyo added in a singsong voice.

"Sure! I wonder what this school year's going to be like...!" Nozomi pondered excitedly as she and Chiyo set out for the High School.

April 2nd, Morning.


I need to finds where the supermarket are.

It is such things that was currently in Katsura Yuuno heads. She is currently walking through the Elementary Gate, having been riding the electromagnetic subways. The Sakura is in full bloom along the path, with the rain on pink petal falling down on hopeful new students.

This is the first time for her to move into a new school, and at 6th grade at that. Her palm feels a little sweaty, but she keeps walking into the school building with smile. Looking at her surrounding, she hopes she can get along with everyone in the class.

I hope Nii-san get accepted well by his minions.


For now, its better to show sunny disposition towards her new environment, and she greet everyone she pass by. Although there aren't much person by now this early. Only those who attends morning practice and have morning activity arrive at this hour. For her, she needs to contact her homeroom teacher to be introduced to her class.

I wonder how many girls I need to dissuade from getting close to Nii-san.

As she entered the school building, she felt a faint hope of having a happy years ahead.

Right, is this good enough?

 

Katsuryuu is somewhat nervous as he placed the rental bike into the port. He knows he doesn't need to be, but he is anyway. Even without looking at his watch, he knows he has plenty of time, even having dismounted a block away. Then, he walks up to the High School Gate of Comnet Academy and stops just outside of the gate. As he looks at the ground at his feet, he thinks about how he's been here for only three years, but it already feels like home.

He looks up at the sky, shielding his eyes from the sunlight, and mumbles, "Three years, huh?" Then, he continues, a little louder, "I guess this is the point where I make a quip about a new beginning, or something like that, right?"

He laughs nervously. Then, slowly, tentatively, almost daintily, he steps through the gate. He tosses a quick glance over his shoulder, as he shifts his backpack slightly. He waves to another student, and shouts, "Hey, Arata! Over here!"

Katsuryuu grins as the other student, Arata Oshiro, one of his few friends, jogs over. Then, with the speed of a very excited, rather nervous student about to start a new semester of High School, Katsuryuu goes in for the hug. Grabbing the slightly shorter teen in a bear hug, Katsuryuu asks him, "How have you been? I haven't seen you in weeks!"

Alright, so Arata's been on a week and a half long vacation on Okinawa, and he got back yesterday. Katsuryuu wants details. (Mostly going to happen off screen, of course)

 

Yomiko scanned the faces in the crowd of students walking to the Junior High Gate, searching for her friend Milla. She wished they lived close enough that they could walk to school together, but housing arrangement had decided otherwise. She couldn't find any of the other girls she'd sort-of befriended in her short time at the school last semester, after she'd been shoehorned into classes a few weeks before the end of the year.

She was also pretty sure her new shoes were already getting small for her, after the growth spurt she'd had over the break. Maybe she could go shopping with Milla after school?

She hoped Milla was in her class, or that her class mates were friendly. Or both, that would be very nice.

Does this look alright? Was trying to get her feelings on things mostly be a 'read between the lines' type thing, but I'm not sure I did it that well

 

Yurika walks to the school, her back straight, her steps sedate and a smile on her face as she greets everyone she meet. Her mind is elsewhere, however - Kimiko just called her last night - she need another person to process paperwork. Kyou mention something about ‘special session’, and she wonders if Yurika would like to attend. And Yurika has an idea about custom-built Android-based handset that’ll require her to pick-up some things from that sketchy Chinese dealer.

She hopes he doesn’t get busted. That’d be a massive waste of her time.

“Good morning, Yurika!” a voice sounds, and Yurika can’t help the smile that comes on her face. Some can found Elin’s overwhelming, perhaps, but she likes how… fresh, Elin is.

“Good morning, Elin,” she says. “How are you today?”
