Questionable Questing

Which has caused a massive exodus of civilians trying to flee the war which means there's a lack of labor and services since there's not enough people still willing to work, and whoever remains is in hiding or trying to find a way to flee the country which has sprung and underground railroad movement.

The country side is pretty much overrun with roving bands of mercenaries and guerrillas that go around raping and pillaging willy-nilly. All of the Main maritime routes and dirt routes are filled with checkpoints at regular intervals that shoot anything that moves.

As the jackal himself says "The men are being lined against a wall and shot, the children are getting their limbs cut off, and the women..."

The land is either burning steppes, desert or sweltering jungle with all of it that entails and wild fires are not unknown.

All basic necessities, especially food, water and medicine are gone. The only way to get those things is from deliveries of international aid that are being highjacked by both sides of the conflict.

Which is one of the reasons that the war is spiralling with no end in sight because everybody is profiteering from the war be it either from the smuggling of blood diamonds or the theft of international aid

Plus, the Jackal, a weapon traficker is flooding the country with his weapons by selling them at outrageously low prices to both sides.

And when someone tries to strike a truce let alone a ceasefire, it is immediatedly sabotaged by interested parties in both sides or by the mercenaries who wish for the war to continue.
