During reread I had this thought: When Ibaraki ran off, there is a part of her that WANTED Michael to chase her. To claim her, by force if necessary. like why she defaults to following Shuten, for all her claims of Leadership she ultimately isn't one. If you need to retroactively justify her appearance, blame Morgan, likely Saena as well. Morgan keeping her around with a Familiar Contract, at least until she is Bound
