• The site has now migrated to Xenforo 2. If you see any issues with the forum operation, please post them in the feedback thread.
  • An addendum to Rule 3 regarding fan-translated works of things such as Web Novels has been made. Please see here for details.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
  • The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.

Questionable Questing

[Magical girls] included. Not in the sense of forcing them to do civil work, but...retraining them, and finding out how to use their [magic] for it, because they don't need to fight on those fields anymore. More than anythings, those fields need to be sewn and overgrown with grain.
It's time to build something new, and the [emgees] have just as much a right to as anyone else.

I'm not entirely sure how it could even be questified, but the idea was interesting to me.
"Magical Girls" is potentially a placeholder. Just has to be some military force or asset with waifu potential.

Hrm. I envision the idea being a bit like Princess Maker, working as a caretaker/consultant/husband to a MG or group of MG's to de-militarize them and get them used to civilian life. A nice fluffy slice of life game with girls that are retired WMD's.

I almost want to say Shipgirls (including Tank Girls, Fighter Jet Girls, etc) could work too, if you did it right.

After the war, the Shipgirls can't just be decommissioned like you would do with normal military hardware, because they're self-aware; it's deemed unethical. Some of the Shipgirls might find new employment in shipping and transportation, but it's largely a stopgap measure. They've never had to interact with so many people who aren't in the military before, and the culture shock is more than a little daunting.
