Well, there is always the option of ripping harem anime premise and change the protagonist to female.

But let's not go down that path.

'Semi' because, since everyone is lesbian, if you takes too long to have waifu, she'll get paired with your other waifu candidates.

A quest for what?

There is an enchanted cup that will grant one wish to each person that drinks from it. It needs to be filled from the enchanted lake atop Sky Mountain for the magic to work, however, and it can only be filled once; if it is drained, or if more water is added once someone has drunk, it will vanish.

Each girl has some wish they want fulfilled - something deeply personal, something that they probably haven't even told the rest of the group. Also, only strong women who can make the climb can even take advantage of the cup once found, so even if it's really someone else's wish they want fulfilled, it will have to be a hero who actually makes it.

Sky Mountain is harder to climb than it sounds! Also, no one knows where the cup is yet.

Maybe the group starts with three, and picks up more as they go. Perhaps one of their clues leads them to a woman who will only help if she can join their group, or la la la and so on.

The cup is at the south pole, Sky Mountain is at the north pole.

In the process of the quest they grow as people and realize that relying on miracles to do their work for them is just plain lazy...or would be, if they weren't working their asses off for this miracle. Whatever they want it for, they'd have accomplished it with much less effort if they tackled it head-on.

(There's plenty of room in the cup for water for lots of people, so they'll all get their wishes. Probably. Certainly if there are only three or four... well, it'll probably be okay, since the stories say it's a big cup. Right?)

Rather than the south pole, maybe deep in the tropics. (Maybe inside a volcano! Those are neat.) That way you get varied climates and delicious dark-skinned ladies and so on.

All these magical girl talks and no one remembers Madoka? The girl who canonically makes silly wishes on a whim (Cake?) and rape reality into accepting her as a goddess at the very end? Well, I know I said it before, but make her wish to be forever with Homura. Homura loops, Madoka goes back with her, meaning the one which was with her before. So now you have two Madokas.
