  • An addendum to Rule 3 regarding fan-translated works of things such as Web Novels has been made. Please see here for details.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
  • The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.

The choices are made up and the villains don't matter.

I realize the silliness of talking shit about F03 in 2017, mind. I just saw someone say '2shallow4boat' and it made me smile.

I completely agree. The only good thing about Fallout 3 was it's urban environment, which felt quite good to me.

At the least, it was still an RPG game. Fallout 4 doesn't even let you make any dialogue choices outside of sarcasm, seriousness, no and a question thing as the upper option, and you can forget about skill-based comments tied into your skillset because you don't have skills.

And now I'm suddenly reminded of the stupidest fucking thing in Fallout 3. The endgame situation where you are forced to kill your main character, via walking into a room FILLED with Radiation.

"Oh hey, I have a Ghoul Companion! They can go in there and fix the situation easy!"

Said Ghoul Companion: Nope, too Radioactive.

The equivalent of a Fish saying it doesn't want to go swimming, because it's too fucking wet.
