Given Anna had a significant distrust of Humanity until at least several weeks of socialization in, and the PRT's rather poor record in that particular regard, I can see Anna not going anywhere near the PRT or Protectorate.

Less of a distrust and more like she can't trust them to protect themselves, considering there was infighting between the villagers before she left to fight Sekhmet. "Never hurt humans" was something she said on one of her classes.

Recall when I believe it was during the Craftsmen clubs assault on the Electronis club? I recall a blurb about how Anna had still been holding back some stuff regarding her super combi lasers due to mistrust.

She didn't fully trust the Arcologies until a few weeks of them socializing her. Attempting to, anyway.

No, it wasn't like that. Some of her cannons were sent to different facilities for reverse engineering, and the schematics were sent to the Crafts Club to see if they can construct it.

They were assaulting the other club because they wanted some components to make it autonomous, but can't because the combination modes uses more processing power.

And she's not distrustful. Spending 8 years or so of nonstop fighting means her social skills took a dive and only just started to go up.
