Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
If you wish to change your username, please ask via conversation to tehelgee instead of asking via my profile. I'd like to not clutter it up with such requests.
If it does, it's coming over here as a result. I'm not terribly worried at the moment, just curious about the rationale. One of the reasons I'm usually over here is because I think SB/SV mods are too liberal with threadlocks like that.
Talking with a mod on the subject currently. He asked for a full explanation regarding my intentions towards the subject matter going forward. I'll update whenever things clear up.
I was kinda irked by some suggestions that new chapters should be submitted for censor review before posting. Not the user who said it, they seemed well-intentioned enough, but the idea that such a thing is normal.
Here's to hoping there won't be any compromises involved wherein the text would have to be altered not for the sake of quality, but to be allowed to be posted >_>
This is just me spit-balling, but I believe that the mod contacted me to request an explanation specifically because there had been no content violations heretofore. So the primary point of contention was where I was going with the quest, not what was up on the thread already.
Thread has been unlocked, I believe my supposition was pretty much correct. No warnings issued, no points given, just a content review and a request for continuing to uphold the same standard. Copacetic.
