Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.

Goddammit. The thing literally was working just earlier today. I put it to sleep for a while to eat, then next time I press the power to wake it up, the screen stays blink and only two of the six lights are on.
Tried force shut down, etc. Doesn't work. And google account won't be accessing the files there because it's not working and i don't put my files online.
Special note is that the hard drive access light is not turning on/blinking and it doesn't have the usual slightly louder sounds when booting up. Suggestions I've found say I should try taking out the hard drive/battery and putting them back on again.
Gonna look at the model for this laptop and see the instructions on how to do those safely. Basically a more complex "have you tried turning it on and off yet?" Only harder.
I'm not even sure if it really did burn out, since it was a case of "working perfectly fine" while I used it briefly for a handful of minutes, hardly enough time to get really hot and burn up, then I put it to sleep and went back to it. And now it won't turn on properly.
