Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
If you wish to change your username, please ask via conversation to tehelgee instead of asking via my profile. I'd like to not clutter it up with such requests.
The idea behind that is in part because colonizing planets would also be a hassle in the long term, not to mention that some places simply are not habitable on their own (despite being resource rich). As for character background...
I was thinking that the MC would be a "Treasure Hunter" seeking out his family's lost heritage (read: sealed away by self proclaimed good guys). A urgency furthered by his generation inheriting essentially no benefit due to how long it's been sealed away and how thinly descended he is from his heritage.
Fortunately he finds it, and acquires it as the starting post/point. The only problem of course, is that said heritage's sentience has long passed on, leaving only its grudge and hatred behind... which the MC also winds up taking in... willingly. After all, his woes stems from the same cause.
Genre-wise it's planned as Corruption, with Magical Girls (in a specific angle/take so it's not quite right, kinda closer to Superhero genre), Cultivation (not quite xuanhuan-esque), and Sci-Fi x Magic (as the technological backdrop). Space Pirating in strange premises, yay~
And to correct a point, not quite "space stations", barring rarer instances (basically they only exist in extremely resource 4ich places far from habitable planets.
Mainly City-Ships, with larger cities being comprised of "District" ships that form around the "core". Smaller Town-Ships also exist of course. Colony ships on the other hand would then refer to both a fledgling "core" ship of major City-to-be (eventually), a literal planet colonizing ship, or the pre-station core of a "space station".
Like a pirate "base" could use a Town-Ship as a basis. Though it would deeply cut into its actual residential capacity. But hey, moving home base~ a perk of space settings.
