Got some firm ideas on a couple:
One character I had was basically a weapon-using loli who really is high-school aged and fights with a pair of blade-tonfas similar to a pair I saw in a manga about an assassin who decides to become a police woman.

The main character I've got down as this genius badass who in reality just wants a normal life and the affection of her childhood friend, who is utterly normal and more than a little scared about how his blue-haired, stacked, best friend is some kind of avatar of battle. It conflicts with the cute childhood memories, including the 'I'm gonna marry you' quote that always pops in somewhere.

And then there's childhood friend's other female childhood friend, who the MC doesn't know about, who I've got down as 'Hayabusa Ryu-class Yandere Super Ninja complete with Living Demon Katana that is absolutely terrified of her'.

Naturally, she's in love with Childhood Friend because he was nice to her or some other similar contrivance. It was either that or inadvertantly saving her life. Take your pick.
