As with all my videogame purchases, I did some research before buying it. The game itself looked good, but the problem came with the various different versions of it.

The version I noticed on sale was the ultimate edition, but I quickly discovered Persona 5: Royal, which seems to be a better version of Persona 5, with additional content not present in the falsely labeled 'Ultimate Edition'.

Fortunately, I discovered that Persona 5 Royal Deluxe Edition was also on sale. Unfortunately, I discovered that Persona 5 Royal Ultimate Edition both exists and was not on sale, with a price tag of a hundred bucks.

Fed up with the entire ordeal, I bought Persona 5 Royal Deluxe Edition (which sounds like it should include the actual anime waifu in RL with a name like that), only to recently find out about something called Persona 5 Strikers, which I think is a sequel, rather than another 'super' edition of the same game.

The next chapter of HoH is around 80% finished, for those wondering. I am determined to get it out more quickly than the last one.

Atlus is a bit money hungry, and are known for rereleases on their popular games. That said, I personally really enjoyed their rereleases. Unlike Skyrim, they actually add content. Royal for example adds about 20 hours or so to the base game, and a couple of other quality of life features. Still kinda shady though.
