Thanks for the hugs, but it's more that I thought the last few episodes were *awesome* and I know if I go the to the discussion threads I'll find a pack of critics all too happy to shit all over everything they didn't like.

The festering heap of grimmderp that's the second half of season three? It's all in the discussion thread and the Stories you just gave up on thread.

Suffice it to say, I think the writing's amaturish, and if I'm expected to sit through Penny, that adorable bundle of dorky fun, being /torn apart/, they'd best be backing it with good fucking writing.

And that's setting aside what the fight between Yang and Adam says about the safety of the Vytal tournament.

That is to say, it's not and it's very surprising that no one died until the final round. Thus, panic from injuries is nonsense.

This is fair, and I understand how you took it that way. In my mind, though, that wasn't the question I asked.

I asked "what about my enjoyment of RWBY disappoints you?" - to which the answer appears to be, you're disappointed that my taste differs from yours, or perhaps you feel that this is evidence that I'm a poor judge of good writing.

The question that you also answered, which I didn't ask, was "what about RWBY makes it something that you're disappointed that I enjoy?"

The distinction was probably clearer in my head than on the page.
