Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
If you wish to change your username, please ask via conversation to tehelgee instead of asking via my profile. I'd like to not clutter it up with such requests.
Kinda, sorta. I've been plugging away at Tiger of Talys. I bought some Exalted 3E rulebooks since I considered using them as a basis for another story. Then there was some sci-fi I wanted to try using the Fate system as a basis. And then I got frustrated getting nowhere with anything and tried some simple mind-control stuff...
So for Merlin, SI was planning on visiting Vale (and later the other kingdoms) to see how he can contribute. But it's very boring to write. Having distanced myself from that story, I think the timetable I've set up (expecting the story to reach canon time) is highly unrealistic. With how much SI can do, the only reason Salem would last so long would be if he sandbags on purpose
So I was thinking, at this point, Salem wasn't going to nod her head and accept that the SI could win. She'd swap strategies, if not escalate. At that point, it'd be a SI vs Salem story with some support from the cast included. And it'd end with SI either sealing Salem after some hard-fought battle, hitting her with mind control, or ejecting her into space
A proper kingdom-building story should have a weaker protagonist imo. Or at least a protagonist whose abilities don't let him be self-sufficient. SI in Merlin is simply too versatile and can scale up.
True but it remind me of overlord with how his subordinates make the own moves for him behind his back and the dynamics between them were interesting, and you can always nerfe him or send him to a difficult place
