Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
If you wish to change your username, please ask via conversation to tehelgee instead of asking via my profile. I'd like to not clutter it up with such requests.
Someone asked if I was okay with them making one a while ago, but they vanished. I looked into it myself, but the programs I found didn't work very well for some of the systems so I decided to wait for a few updates. So currently there aren't any that I know of.
Thanks for the answer. I think either of the ones SPKTR's guys used should work. Especially the 2nd guy's, it did some rly complex shit, and the list is pretty much endless xD Could ask him about it?
Good news.
Looked into the software 2 Hot Crowns used for SPKTR's, and it works well enough that I can leave the fiddly bits up to the players (there's simply no way to express the drawbacks that grant fractions of world values, let alone the ones that grant fractions of total Companion prices or similar).
The basic 2.3, as it is on IMGUR right now, is done. I just need to do the DLCs to have all the current content done. More worryingly, I need to figure out how to actually host this damned thing.
Hmm, I am sure the other guys have some ides. But you could host the files to a site in the meanwhile I suppose? Something where you can freely put up files. Don't recall which ones are still active... Maybe Gamecopyworld?
Mediafire was the name of the popular one. Though I suggest taking it down eventually. Or they'll lock it off and consider it their propety after a number of years.
Honestly I'd really prefer it if there was just a link people could click on that took them to the full functioning webpage rather than having to download and re-upload the .json and get all the img links right. I've sent out some feelers to the guy who did SPKTR's to see if he'll tell me what I'm missing on that front, and finished the cyoa in the meantime.
