Questionable Questing

So yeah, Hanataro being OP has honest ground to work with if that is what his brother had reached.

Well that's definitely nuts. And somewhat good, if we're interpreting Hanataro as someone who does have talent, but just hasn't been properly cultivated and refined.

Hmm, I wonder how a quest for him might go. Or maybe it's better to slap him into a different setting? Choices...

A different setting might be better. Hanataro really gives off that aura of someone who gets stuck at one level until someone or something pushes him forward. Shoved into a new world with none of his friends, forced to adapt and better himself to survive, is perfect for such an individual.

Need a place where him playing support is real good.

...fuck, my head is going to Danmachi for some reason. Put him there with Meteria for lulz, where he just heals her, goes on for the rest of his day happily being a 'normal' person...except his normal life is soon to end after THAT.

Could be funny if he's only visible to monsters and those with falna/gods/exceptional mortals. So a lot of civilians would legit not see him, but otherwise he can act all ghost-like.

So an adventurer and god and monster can see him selectively walk through walls or interact physically as he pleases, but civilians are freaking out at the 'ghost'.

Meteria may well misunderstand and think he's a nice guardian angel or friendly spirit something, depending on how he describes himself.

Also fun parts on whether a god can put a falna on him, etc.

I always forget that Shinigami are technically super ghosts but yeah. He's invisible to most people in a setting, just going around and helping others by...stabbing them which would be a funny way to introduce him to a sickly individual.

Hanataro: "Don't worry, I'm going to heal you."

And then he pulls out his sword and impales you.

Yeah, keeping him ghost-like in some manner is probably the best way to keep that uniqueness and running gag.

He wants a 'normal' life there, something simple, but he's also somewhat nice. So I'm imagining him hanging out at the backroom of a spirit (like that gnome that Lili knew) who can see him and is fine working with him, and he traipses around every now and then being a nice guy.
