• The site has now migrated to Xenforo 2. If you see any issues with the forum operation, please post them in the feedback thread.
  • An addendum to Rule 3 regarding fan-translated works of things such as Web Novels has been made. Please see here for details.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
  • The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.

Questionable Questing

Don't care about what others say. As long as you love what you write, keep doing it, even if just for yourself.
Double check everything just to be sure.
If you feel like something is missing, slowly reread what you wrote and see if you want to add another scene somewhere.
Always have a good portion of the plot written down on a notebook before you start writing.

Put down the scenes you have in mind before you start writing them, so you don't forget anything.
If you get ideas while away from the computer, write them down on your phone so to not forget them. Or on something close by.

Enjoy yourself, and take breaks when needed.

Thank you very much! I was actually inspired by your Rwby fic and Fairy Tail one. And I wanted to ask how do you go about making meaningful relationships in your stories? I wanted to try something similar to your Jirou/Raven fic in terms of relationship building.

Make it slow. Or if it happens fast, make it believable. Like with Kyoka and Tooru in Beat Drop. Kyoka is affection starved, Tooru is Affection, Attention and Touch Starved. They both gave each other what they wanted, thus love bloomed.
As for other types, make it slow, lots of interactions, compliments, have them think about each other, that kinda stuff. Have it be as believable as possible. Don't rush.

Thanks, this is of great help! But I was also curious as to how you get into a SI? Like, what do you keep from the OG personality and what is of the PC?

And last, I know I'm asking much, but could I use your Fairy Tail Lore that you added and the cool power of what Erza could have? By Lore I mean the Gods vs Human bit. And by Power I mean Blade/Sword Dragon Slayer. It was really cool.
