Have you seen Moemon before? There are multiple playthroughs of it on YouTube. Would make for a good base. The ninetails one seems like a good yandere, based on how the sprite glitches out when in battle.
Holy shit the artstyle is cute. Some of those un-transformed lolis are ADORABLE. The monster girl capturing I originally thought of was from a game called Evenicle. The way they sit in your inventory, forever tied up and crying, was always disturbing to me.
Moh~ The idea could work, but I fear it'd get too edgy after a while. Alternatively, you could have a protagonist rescue Pokemon from such a scenario, and engage in beloved aftercare measures. Same story idea, different result!
Evenicle rode the line of too cruel and edgy for me. It's from the same company that makes Rance, which I cringe out of right away because of MC's personality. But Evenicle was just too good to stop even if parts of it were ridiculously dark and depressing. The capture method of getting a girl low hp first is always satisfying. The fact that you can sell them for money afterwards just adds to the feeling of conquest.
I think for this proposed story I'd make it a happy slavery, perhaps. Right at a medium level of edgy? Dunno, maybe I'll be in an edgy mood at the time, or not *shrug*
