Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
If you wish to change your username, please ask via conversation to tehelgee instead of asking via my profile. I'd like to not clutter it up with such requests.
Problem is, I can't write that well anymore. I went back and read it a while ago, and I have no idea what I was on back then, because it looks like someone competent wrote it.
I might give it another shot, though. I quit my 9-5 a month or two ago, and my new job has flexible hours, so I may have time to write at some point. Who knows, maybe it's just a matter of getting into it.
Any protagonist will be acceptable, it's just a matter of how much research I'd have to do before I can really get it going. Madoka, particularly, would need quite a bit of time; there's a lot of PMMM content out there, and to get a good grasp on her character I'd need to read it all.
Naruto, Index, F/SN, Hayate the Combat Butler, A shitton of one-seasoners. No matter what the players would choose, though, I'd need time to research; You wouldn't believe the amount of time I spent looking over specific scenes in F/SN and F/HA while running Alcoholic quest.
...I guess? If that's what the voters choose, anyways. Mind, I'd prefer to have an actual personality to work with; I'm not good at writing original characters. At all.
Of course, this is all theoretical. I still haven't made up my mind if I want to start writing again. It's kind of a massive time-sink.
Yes, I'm aware of what you mean, but that would basically be writing him/her from scratch. Overlord is a game that has the worst case of silent protagonist; there's literally no personality there. I can't do much with that.
The fight scenes are cool, it /is/ kind of hollow MC with a few relatable traits, and there's just enough cheese for it to be fun but stay reasonable.
Reasonable for anime, anyway.
Ah, that makes a lot more sense. I think I might've heard of the anime at one point, but I've been reading Earthscorpion's Overlady lately, so it just overshadowed it.
Anyways, I've actually got a lot more ideas for protagonists. Master Chief, Tucker from RvB, Ruby from RWBY. I don't know why I was limiting myself to anime, there're plenty of video games and web animations I could work with.
