Questionable Questing

I don't know if she's saying it just to spite me or if it's the truth... but she did start becoming a hell of a lot harder to deal with after my little sister went away to live with her biological mother.

The only reason I haven't gotten a restraining order on her yet is because I'm not physically capable of dealing with whatever psychotic backlash she'll come up with just for me.

But really, I'm serious about the narcissism thing, having known two narcissistic parents in my life. Her reaction to your sister's move out doesn't mean anything in particular - no matter why she adopted your sister, she could find a reason why her moving out is an affront to her.

Aaaaand now I need to hurt something. Fuck.

And Fed? Get the restraining order. Do. Not. Hesitate.

At that point, anything and everything she does to torment you legally becomes harassment, not that it wasn't before, and you can and should press charges if she attempts anything further. [/not a lawyer but you should definitely talk to one, even just a one hour consultation]

That's basically how narcissists work; they make bullshit rationalizations up, and narcissistic parents can't *stand* to see children getting out from under their thumbs.

But that's beside the point. No matter what your mother says about where you come from, no matter whether it's true or not, you don't deserve what she's doing to you. You deserve better. Don't internalize the messages she's giving you.

Fuck that woman. My mom is annoying, but she is still on milion times better than that "thing". Ignore her, you're an amazing person and we're all ready to swear it before a judge.
