    Technically, modern theories revolve around just three basic stages; first dark forest, then grabby aliens, and then transcendent. Where the first is still for scarcity civilizations, the second is at the stage of capability for expanding at a significant portion of the speed of light, and then the third being beyond this universe's limitations.

    "Gao Wu" is "high martial arts", with talking beasts
    "Fantasy" is similar as above, but with immortality being real, and magic/alchemy/formations/etc.
    "Xianxia" a tier higher, with inner worlds and massive scale

    2. MC gets the Pokemon games where their Pokemons can go into the game and things can be taken out of the game
    3. The anime version of the Pokemon world, which has the most world building, is merging with this "Earth", there are dimensional tunnels and rifts of "forbidden zones" (like Legends Arceus)
