    Kinda random but while looking over your threads to see if any of your fics catch my fancy (I'm HALPING did as you can see by the likes, very entertaining if a bit crack, love it) and I saw your way old post about castings for a Worm adaptation. And I had a great one for Piggot, Margo Martindale. She was brilliant in portraying a competent ironclad fat bitch in The Americans (great show if you haven't watched it)

    Hi! I was just re-reading Advent of a Hero and it made me wonder if you have ever considered writing in the Xianxia/Cultivation genre? Or if that genre is even in your interest range?     That's too bad but thanks for telling me. It is basically Asian mythology with a progressive power system tagged on. The creatures are like the things from the film Spirited Away by Studio Ghibli. The only good Xianxia novels I have read are parodies, so it might not be worth looking into. Lol.

    There are always a lot more lurkers on a forum than there are active posters. But Ack bottlenecked access to his NSFW fics behind asking him for a copy, so a lot of people who were otherwise lurkers had to unlurk for that purpose.

    The moral of the story is "don't gate things behind something you have to manually approve without a very, very good reason".

    I had a good reason. That way, I could ask people to confirm exactly what they wanted (not everyone wanted everything), and to reiterate the request not to post them anywhere else under my name. "just assuming" that people knew not to do that *would* have bitten me in the ass.

    Question. Why don't you just post all your NSFW stories to AO3 and orphan them (detach your name from them) so people stop bothering you about those fics?
    Does doing that still not create enough separation for you to write professionally? If so, it sort of sucks that you have to delete that stuff in order to get taken seriously.

    Even if I orphaned them, there would be those who would always link my name to them. Especially as some of them were NSFW versions of SFW fics I was also writing. Taking them away altogether--out of sight, out of mind--is the simplest solution I can think of.

    Found it odd unless his real name is known or he is planning to professional write under this name why it was removed. Suppose he told others his real name and believe they would doxx him, shame he trusted the wrong person.
