Questionable Questing

perhaps "primal regression" is a better term for "mega evolution", and the energy in "mega evolution" is an emotional energy from the bonds of trainers to Pokemon that is then converted to unlocking the full output that would otherwise be too costly to maintain

we could conceive of lore of this magnitude because it makes sense, especially when we compare "prehistoric pokemon", "super giant ancient pokemon", "ancient paradox pokemon", and "mega evolved pokemon", but in the events 3000 years ago in kalos, pokemon were already in their modern forms, so we have to go back further

but at the same time, the events in hoenn happened around 3000 years ago, and it was during that time that primal regression of Groudon/Kyogre were possible and Rayquaza could mega evolve, and we don't have a time period for the "super giant ancient pokemon" of Pokemopolis, but this is linked to Oldale and Pokelantis, so we could put this catastrophe around 10000 to 3000 years ago

but if we infer from the sea peoples and similar events that become coagulated as one event through oral retelling and ancient script, then we can understand that a single catastrophe couldn't have been it, instead it should be a series of catastrophes stacked together, happening at the same time, that could cause such a thing

and such a series of catastrophes should happen over a long period of time instead of instantly, so it could be anywhere between decades to hundreds of years, such as during the time of the sea peoples when the earth had an overall cyclical cooling that caused harvest failure, climate catastrophes, earthquakes, and so on

So what you're saying is that the Pokemon World is currently in the low energy state... and it'll cycle back upwards once more
