As for prattling, well I don't see it as that. I we it as you sharing your feelings and emotional state. It's not unwelcome.

I want to have more to talk about than my own issues. It's all I can ever talk about anymore. I'm just boring and sad.

I completely agree with Fed, she's right. I enjoy seeing what you write and I want you to be happy Smithy, if talking helps then you can write a five thousand word post about your thoughts and feelings and I would read it.
