But what I'm saying is Gwen Stacy is obviously the best girl, back then all the writers were into "It" girls with "sassy" attitudes, which basically translated to toxicity, so they kept writing MJ instead of Gwen.
It seems like every version of Mary Jane Watson is awful bad. Her only redeeming feature being that she's hot, but that's not an uncommon feature.

It feels like the Kankers didn't start off abusive and deviant, but were skewed that way throughout the development of the cartoon. Seeing them through the eyes of idiot boys, of course, probably also warped their behavior. However, when they were first introduced, they are just three half-sisters from a one-mother dysfunctional family, yet they started off making a meal for the Eds. They aren't bad girls. -
