Well, if a high's the necessary side effect of making the pain bearable... I mean, they prescribed opiates for the pain when I got all of mine out, but they also prescribed ibuprofin. Oddly enough, I managed with just the ibuprofin.

The pain you feel is the pain you feel. What you need to do to get through it is for you to find out. In my case, ibuprofin just happened to be enough that it didn't hurt more than my mouth did with the teeth still in and messing shit up.
