From kneading the tough dough--a dough that once broke the gears of my mixer, teaching me to always hand-knead them--to boiling them in honeyed water to cook them without having them lose their form, down to keeping the baking sheets warm to prevent them from deflating and turning into rocks as they bake.

Sorry to hear that you're in pain from working at such a place. Even so, one gets used to it if enough time passes.

As someone who grew up with bakers as parents, it is indeed quite a tough job to do. Moreso if the bakery opens early. :)
