Questionable Questing

Okay, so I was reading this story with this premise, it's pretty good, though the MC is a bit trashy, but that's par for genre, lmao

It's like, you know, sometimes you feel the MC is an idiot for not thinking of something you thought of, but it's like, without the obvious narrative hints, and with all the pressures and troubles of being "at the scene" and "entangled in plot", it's hard to think of the obvious answer that the author is dangling there, right?

I just mean I kind of despise this MC sometimes, but other times I quite like it. I'm not sure how to feel about this, because it's a feeling that seems superior than liking a "pure hero", like you know, Aragorn or Captain America, I guess, but it's also a bit better than liking, you know, the antihero type heroes that stick it to the man

It's surprising that there's already 300 chapters of this story, also it's kind of nice that later on, the "first ex-girlfriend" is such a yandere since she transcended and became a creation god that the sequence of events kind of loops

because in this story, the premise is the "cheat system" has 3 phases of rewards, at the start of the isekai, MC is an idiot and was given the task of dating 200 girls at the 10/10 level, dumping one before dating the next, and he grew as a person and did all the character development during this time

and it was only after this was done that system-chan revealed that phase 2 is to get back together with all of them, but they all died and became all sorts of horrific yanderes from simple ghosts to eldritch gods, and he has to marry all his 200 ex-girlfriends in the "reverse world"

So basically it's actually a 2+ stage isekai, in the first life, MC loved only a single girl but she got cancer and died at like mid-twenties, and he kind of let life take him in depression afterwards, and in the second life he first was scummy because he did the missions thinking a reward could resurrect her, but he fell in love with the 200 yanderes
