Here I understand since the Safe for work section is a ghost town but on SV I used to have such interesting conversations even though no one took me on the fact I said you can give me prompts and just had to give myself prompts.

Guess I lost the good will I had during one of my depression flare ups or people lost interest in stories that will never be. Ah well, I'll still share shit but I'll lower my expectations for any meaningful criticism or just plain conversation.

So it's like Unfaltering Bereavement (Harry Potter/The Last of Us) over at SB, dearth of HP or last of us fic yet there is only 30 users on average who look at it... Or maybe not, people probably thought "shiny!" and left after a bit of hiatus.

No idea. Think the most people I saw on my thread was like 9 when it updates with a few people dropping in when I'm not paying attention during the week. Honestly though, even if I understand the reasons it's hard to work up the motivation to write for free anymore. It's not paying like it used to. But I guess that is because I abandoned a lot of shit and work on something different.

It's bad enough that it's really hard for me to be motivated to do anything in the first place. Taking hours out of my day to write is becoming less and less fun with every word written and every sentence completed. Since I know there is not going to be really any pay off at the end. A person's day wont be brighten by my work if no one reads it and all that jazz. >.>

I don't read short snips on principle, the reaction is never good. It's either 'so? nothing much happened' or 'don't fucking start if you're going to drop it just as it gets good'. The usual cutoff is 20k words for stories, and I'm also very cautious about people who start 100500 of incomplete quests.

Still watching the hell outta RWBY quest. Much sadness there.
