Questionable Questing

I decided to maybe try switching back to my RWBY WC story because maybe switching things up will help, but I'm having the same damn problem there.

I really feel bad about it because I know a lot of people like my stories. I want to write a chapter and publish it for you all to enjoy, but I just can't manage to put pen to paper. I'm pretty bummed out about it. 2/4

I read online about "writing sprints" which are meant to help break writer's block. I wrote a cool story about Cammy in MHA because I've been playing a lot of MvC2 lately, so that's neat I guess, but it didn't help my writer's block at all so that's kind of besides the point. 3/4

I'm really not sure what else to do at this point. If anyone has any advice on how to break writer's block I'd love to hear it, but as it stands I guess I'm just going to be taking a break from my main two stories until I get more motivation to write. I might drop something smaller here and there, but as it stands I guess I'm just... done for a little while.

Sorry fellas. 4/4

Easiest way to stop writers block? Don't. If you can't think of anything your just gonna drive yourself mad trying to. If you think of something later great come back to it, if not just move on. As a non-writer this is the best advice I can give sorry.

My experience is that it's best not to try and force it. Give it some time, do something else, and eventually you might feel that motivation coming back. Or, if it's a problem with writing the thing that comes next, don't force yourself to continue where you left off but write some future scene that you feel more motivated to do. But sometimes stories just die or lie comatose for ages.
