Finally got my PC back, got a different motherboard from the one I'd been trying to update to and the damn thing instantly worked without issue other than needing to redo my graphics drivers.

Bruh, all that time stuck with my shitty laptop for nothing.

Just realized the minor pain in my shins after running is probably not due to my socks being too tight and instead something called "Shin splints", been exercising too hard too fast lol.
